I have solved the problem by replacing the original security line with a 2mm dyneema line. According to the ]manufacturer], this rope has a breaking strength of 410daN (kg). Now it seems to be working properly.

I have to say to be honest that I have had emails with Swich and they have offered me a possible solution. In these days I am away from home but as soon as I return I will try it and I will tell you. If I have to thank the brand's response, unlike other manufacturers with a recognized name, when you have a problem, they do not respond to emails despite being recognized by manufacturer failures.

I’ve been using the bar for 2 seasons and I’ve had this issue for the first time yesterday. Obviously not at the right time as I needed to quick release in the water.

How did you fix it?

I have to say that switch has sent me free spare parts for my bar. After so many years in this sport, it is the first time that a brand offers me such a guarantee service. I will definitely continue to use the material of this brand
