just realized with this mega sale promotion all kite prices went up over $1000. Is a marketing tactic? or after sale the price will stay in this new price bracket?

The current list prices have been present on the website for some time now but also with a marked down price, You would have previously seen these in red with a slash through them. We are currently working on a deal that would include Switch kites sold from a number of retailers. This pricing move has been to standardise the list price across the board. We will always have the best possible deals available direct from the website. The current sale offers better pricing than typically available in recent months so is certainly not a 'gimmick'. Our aim to provide the best possible value for money to as many people as we can has not changed.

Sounds good. Going to wait for the next sale myself though. The market seems kind of unstable atm.

Until this year every brand new model from Switch was around $700-800. Since they started outsourcing their designs it looks like the prices have jumped to +$1000. With the mega sales, it comes back to normal again. I guess time will tell what would happen after this sale.

well, the mega sale is over, now free harness or bag got kicked in. I don't see any appealing for me to buy with Switch anymore since they jacked up their prices. Buying local is more reasonable since there would be custom + taxes on top of the prices.
