You have to buy 2 kites now at once to get to the same price or maybe a little less to get near the old prices I have to compare to know exactly! But what's worse is that a LE is almost doubled in price, well you can say that it is it's only a few coins less so 1-2 beers orso. Shipping costs is also way more, only if you buy a kite I think it is free shipping.
I read somewhere that Switch maybe wanted to sell their gear also in kite surf board shops but it hasn't happened yet. Or am I mistaken ? It wouldn't hurt I guess because you can test them first, didn't they ever do a road trip or something where you could test their kites ? There is some schools who did this in the past also I think.

When I look the web site still shows a 30-50% discount banner.
The kites I looked at are all under AUD$1000 (up to 9-10m depending on model).
That's still half the price of the major brands for arguably as good a kite, if not better.
I didn't like the "buy two things" deal, but I guess that could be useful for some people. The current prices seem ok to me. The discount thing is a bit of an irritation but I can live with it.
What I would like to see is:
- Element 7
- Wind wing
- High performance LEI with performance approaching a foil kite in moderate winds but not the high price.

These promotions are bringing our money out of the pocket, and at the end of the promotion period the price of the product increases. This is purely marketing technique, waiting for the next round of promotion, hopefully will get a Nitro 7 with a fair discounted price.
