Hello guys. I have the nitro v5. I’m a beginner but I already now how to control the kite. I just got the nitro v5 12m but For some reason I don’t feel power when turning the kite and when I have it on 12 the kite tends to go over my head. I checked the lines of the bar and they are all the same length. What could be my problem? Is it the kite or the bridles? Thanks for the helps

My first guess would be the bar/lines. You could test if it does the same with another four line bar, I use a cabrinha bar with my Nitro v5.

I'm having the same problem with 16m v5, no lift can't jump. But my 8m v4 jumps perfectly

It is nearly impossible to get any significant air on a 16m. When you get up in that size the wind don't have any power to make the uplift. Like jumping a 15m, I only go op to 6-7 meters in a jump with that size. The kites gets to big to go quick upwards in the window :D

Big kites are made for cruising and such things. Maybe you can do some freestyle. But no big air for sure.

Regarding the 12m Nitro v5, that sounds strange. Perhaps you should write directly to the guys at switch, maybe they can give you some ideers. Never had any problem with my nitro6 12m. Jumps great. Sound like line or the way you connect it is wrong. Hard to tell on the web.

But I’m using a 12m and I don’t wanna jump. The kite just doesn’t have power

What wind are you in? What setting do you connect it on?
Rider info vs. weather?

The wind was around 22 knots to 17 knots. I’m using the switch controller 2. I was trying to do body drag but the kite wouldn’t turn easily and almost every time that it turned the kite would lose all the wind and fell. The kite also went over my head 2 times that I had it on 12.
