Us kiters are generally a pretty friendly bunch and willing to help each other out as a rule. Which leads me to think of a great thread to start here.

What is the top tip you could give to other kiters, be it basic or advanced.

I'll start with a good one for new kiters:

Bring those hands in on the bar, with your hands on the ends your control is more erratic as small movements from you have a bigger effect on the kite. With your hands closer in your control will become smoother and more controlled. It's also easier to fly one handed with your hand further in.

Consult locals when riding a new spot regarding rules and regulations at their spot. Be respectful to beach goers and surfers and of course other kiters.
