I admit that the price is steeper than I expected. $350 was what I thought it would be and hoped for less. Still cheaper than most bars out there other than 50% off type of sale (when I buy my bars ;) ). Other than that it looks good, clean design. The rest is down to personal preference. I use large bars only even on small kites so size adjustment doesn't bother me. I would love to have a short loop option for QR as I use rope spreader bar exclusively.

sorry guys, Switch are not the only one, for example in France, we have some cheapers bars than Switch and that's good bars : you can look Goldenboard, Gong, Kiteattitude... and they match very good with all kites with lines equal lenght
but ok I stop now, if you doesn't see the truth
I think it's a good bar if we compare to North or Cabrinha who have crazy prices  but there are others brands
cheers and let's go ride, that's the most important ;)

Awesome, I really like the new bar, but i am not sure if i will get it. Even with the 15% discount I can get something like a (fixed) Cabrinha 1x Trimlite 2017 for the same price, which is very similar featurewise (just a clean bar - I like that).
Maybe I am not seeing something. What would you pick if you could get either one for the exact same price and why?

Switch, because there are major problems every year with the Cabrinha bars. And they'll tell you its user error, and then after 1,5 years they'll come with a recall

Btw, if you buy the bar with a kite you get a 150 dollar discount ;)

I do find it funny that pretty much everything that was asked for, including the pvc sleeve, has been delivered. Yet people are still complaining.
Proof that you can only please some of the people all of the time.
In terms of price. Yes it is more expensive that the Controller 3, but with the discount it still makes it cheaper than a lot of comparable bars.

Bar looks very nice! Great job switch! Price wise, 320 is fine, 380 plus 28 euro postage is bit steep for me.

I ride my Helium, Elements (down to 7m) and Legacys all on the 55cm setting on the V2 bar. Only my 5m Element is ridden on 45cm, but last week I was lazy and rode it on 55cm, and no real difference tbh. Just be a bit less agressive on the input.

And remember, you can always tone down on wide bar, but you can't crank any harder on a small bar.

I suspect Switch from raising the price on a single bar, so they can give a nice deal in combination with a kite. No biggie though, the introduction offer makes up for that :)

I wonder how much the spare parts will cost. I was comparing some other brands with similar bars and prices on the CL/QR vary from 55,- for the BWS version (the original one) to 125,- for the Peter Lynn version.
