Any news on the single strut kite I've heard rumors about? Are you targeting a spring release?

I've been foiling with Trip's and Cloud the last few years. They are good in light wind but they definitely have their limitations such as becoming easily overpowered, being poor jumpers and tending to collapse during hard turns and kiteloops. I was considering buying North Monos until I heard that Switch might have a one strut in development. I love my full quiver of Legacy kites for freestyle and can't wait to see what Bill, Felix and crew come up with for a great all-around and hydrofoil kite. It seems like a super-light, mid-high aspect single strut kite with a spider bridle might be the ticket. :)

Hello YakAttack:
Thanks for your interest in this project. At the moment, we are waiting delivery of the latest sample kite to verify some construction details and testing in NZ. Spring delivery is still the goal.
Cheers!

Let me know if you need a tester in Australia!

I am just getting into foiling ATM so will be interested in seeing what you come up with.
I am currently using the Element when on the foil but a nice lightweight single strut kite would certainly be welcome.

Looks nice.
Will be interested to hear about relaunch with it looking flatter than any of the other ILE kites.

Given the intended use, relaunch is definitely important. So far, relaunch has not been an issue with the test kites.

Hello YakAttack and Others:
Quick question. Our current thinking is to make 7, 9 &12sqm sizes. We plan to keep the 15.5 & 18sqm Helium models. The MonoStrut versions are strictly intended for hydrofoiling. Any thoughts on these sizes?
Thanks!
