I just watched the Switch.tv video on the Element v5 three knot settings. Since I'm on Element v4's which of the two knots that come with it would be considered the "standard" calibration? The upper (closer to the kite), or lower?

This is strange as I just checked my 7m E4 & it has 3 knots not 2.

I have usually set mine on the middle (2nd knot) but do use the other knots depending on conditions.

Well, I have had 2 sessions on my 9m V4 now, one on the middle knot, one on the upper knot. Didn't notice a real difference. The kite doesn't backstall on the highest knot on full power.

My E4 11m has 3 knots on both the red and blue tip leads. I don't get enough power typically on the outside knots but the middle and inside ones work well for me.

Always rode on outside knots for surfing and mid knot for wake/freestyle. If you only have two knots tie another on the outside at equal lengths for more depower.
