Re: Helium 3

The fluttering seems to go away with a little tension on the back lines. Not a lot. Just fingertip pressure.

Re: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FROM SWITCH IN THE FUTURE

I would like a high aspect, high performance, go fast, big boosting kite. Presumably that would be a new Nitro. I am very happy with my Elements (4 and 5) and my Heliums. I feel that when blasting upwind on my foil I reach terminal velocity and can't go any faster. My kite mate has the same gear but...

Re: Helium 4?

I'm not sure I want a Helium 4 in the near future. The H3 is a good kite and it's only been out for a short time. The only thing I would change is to have a black or dark grey leading edge. The bright yellow looks nice but it shows the dirt really easily. What I would like is a new ultra high perfor...

Re: Controller 4

Ive tried to get a new stopper ball from Switch and not a hope. Ive sent 3-4 e-mails and no answer. ... I just use the contact form on the web site. I am not aware of an email address. I have always had a reply within 24 hours and resolution of the problem within a few days. One of the reasons I ke...

Re: Switch Element V6

Currently my Element 5 5m becomes a bit of a handful when foiling in 30-35 knots winds. It's doable, but not fun. Should I get an Element 6 4m or 3m? I am looking to have fun on the foil in the 30-40 knot range. By "fun" I mean carving around on the waves and generally swooshing about. I bought an E...

Re: Nitro 7 - The one that got away

My vote would be for high aspect, high performance. That gives huge floaty jumps, and hopefully more top end speed. Something equivalent to the Ozone Edge etc. For foil freeriding I am very happy on the Element and Helium kites. Swooshing around in waves and chop is pure joy. When smooth water and s...

Re: Nitro 7 - The one that got away

That's a pity. It was only posted a few days ago. I had hoped with new Nitro7 posts appearing that there was something new with suitably high performance coming from Switch.

Re: Nitro 7 - The one that got away

Pictures of the Nitro 7 from Facebook. It looks kind of flat and high performancey. Could this be a proper high performance wing?

Re: What's Next?

I've been kiting almost every day for two weeks on my foil with the Element 5 5m. I'm getting enough kiting (just). It's my internet surfing that is dull. New stuff please. :)
