Re: Helium 4 wishlist

I have been amazed at the relaunch of my Helium 2 15.5 and the Helium 3 12m. In conditions where I thought relaunch was not possible they almost automatically self-relaunched. About the only gripe I have about the Helium 3 is the yellow leading edge. The yellow gets stained really easily from any di...

Re: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FROM SWITCH IN THE FUTURE

A couple of things on my micro-wishlist. Kites need to have black or dark grey leading edges for the full length. The yellow leading edge on my Helium 3 gets dirty and some of the dirt marks cannot be cleaned off. I quite like the old black kites with the coloured tips. I like black kites with colou...

Re: 12m low end - differences between Helium and Element (and Nitro)

I honestly cannot say whether my Switch kites are the best kites ever. I have no idea. What I can say is that I can do whatever anybody else can do, and a fair bit that other people cannot do. That's partly because I am fairly competent, I try hard to master stuff, ride a lot, and I ride an extremel...

Strut Wrinkles

The older Elements have wrinkles across the strut fabric, usually at the first seem back from the leading edge and about half way down the strut. They're usually only visible when the kite is sitting nose down on the ground. I have had kites (from other manufacturers) where those winkles cause fatig...

Re: Nitro 7?

Anybody riding the Nitro 7 on a foil? What do you think of it? Looking at the Nitro 7 as an alternative to the Ozone Edge.

Re: Nitro 7?

Mais c'est une psycho de chez storm!!! Qu'est qu'elle fait là????? 🤔🤔 But it's a psycho from storm !!! What is she doing here ????? I have to admit I was a bit peeved by all the comments talking about the H3 being re-branded Storm kites. I don't really care as long as they're good kites. But... I l...

Re: Switch Element V6

The key word is "allows", not "requires". You can foil with a kite in less wind than other boards. The kite doesn't actually generate any more power. You can just get away with less of it. There's no reason why you can't handle a bigger kite on a foil in similar winds to those you would on a surfboa...

Re: Switch Element V6

Rather than buy a new kite (especially one that doesn't exist like a 1 strut Element 6 7m), you would be better off working on your foiling skills. You sound like you're very much a beginner foiler. It's tempting to buy new kites and smaller kites when you think you're overpowered, and smaller kites...
