Re: Helium 3

Hey MAC. Sorry for the late reply, I started on the nitros but only in 9 - 12m. Haven't had them bigger. I really prefer the Helium as my light wind anytime and that's why I got the H2 early. I'm 220 and haven't seen the 16m Helium3 or 2 drop out below 10kn.. I can ride very well in 10-13kn, even ge...

Re: Helium 3

For all you Helium 3 riders, I'm thinking about switching out my Nitro N5-16 for a Helium 3 16, I still ride N6 10M & 12M which I really enjoy, looking to replace the the low end wind 10-15mph on TT-SB and Skim, I do like the old school big air qualities of the Nitro. Do you think I will he happy w...

Re: Helium 3

More video footage of kite in sky and water please. How is relaunch in super light wind? The one thing I love about the H2 was how great it relaunched in very light winds. Relaunch is quite easy, I have the 16m and have no problem at all relaunching it in 10knots, I had the H2 before and the H3 is ...

Re: Helium 3

It depends upon how steady the wind is. Anything will fly in a steady 10 knot thermal sea breeze. If the wind is frontal or coming over a disturbed land mass then there are going to be lulls. Most kites will struggle if the lulls are less than 8 knots. Especially lulls can also come for other reaso...

Re: Controller 4

Is it normal to have a ring coming out of the clam cleat ?Sorry I don't have a photo. As we talked on, on Facebook Gautiou. The metal ring is there to stop the one frontline to go "all the way out of the bar". Took a picture to explain what I mean. So yeah, its normal to have such a ring on the cla...

Re: Controller 4

I will still say it's a personal opinion. I can't recognize my hands hurt when using the bar, even after 4 hours on the water today, and yes, it was with jumps, loops and other stuff. With the 9m element6 on 20m lines in 11m/s. I have googled some bars and 2/5 wrote thickness. I'm not sure what you ...

Re: Controller 4

Hi guys, Below is just my personal opinion. The bare has some advantages compared to controller3, as well as disadvantages. One very big disadvantage though is that the bar way too thick! I was riding it with 3m neoprene gloves and my hands got tired after 10 minutes. It’s simply too thick to hold ...
