Re: The Legacy is Amazing.

Today I rode the 10m in winds that were in the mid 30's gusting to 40 knots and though way overpowered I never felt out of control. Instead I felt like boosting to the moon! My buddy claimed some jumps were over 50 feet high but hard to tell from my perspective and the Woo wasn't working. Huli88 was...

Re: The Legacy is Amazing.

Hi Felix, I want to ensure I'm getting the 5th line tension right. Out of the box with a Controller 3 I attach the 5th line to the knot provided on the 5th line bridle, but it seems there is hardly any tension in the 5th line and it droops a bit, is this correct? How much tension is needed? Big than...

Reduce drag with tubercules?

According to this article putting tubercules on the leading edge of a wing reduced drag 32% (http://www.wired.com/2015/11/whales-wind-turbines/). Could the same principle be applied to kites? One benefit of reducing drag would allow us to ride in less wind and reduce back-stall.

Re: The Legacy is Amazing.

Yeah probably a little slow which is f***ing amazing for airstyle and wakestyle. I for one don't like kites that are too twitchy or fast. You can certainly loop the 10m Legacy, but make sure that your jump is 8-10m or higher before you do :D

Re: The Legacy is Amazing.

I need to get a Go Pro and mouth mount but yes I will. So with looping new kites I always use the same process. First I send it big and do a late loop on the way down, I then proceeded to pull the loop earlier and earlier. Additionally when performing the weight loops I figure out where the bar need...

Re: The Legacy is Amazing.

Just purchased the 14m. Can't wait to ride it and will post a review with focus on low end and turn speed.

Re: Switchkites LEGACY kite used by MJ in PKRA Tarifa

Thanks for the info Marc at 75kg I figure 11knots should be good for me. I will be likely picking up a 14m Legacy as well.

Re: The Legacy is Amazing.

Note this kite likes to be ridden powered. Most people the last couple of days were on 8's while I was on the 10m on the depower setting and last knot connection on the TE. Huli88 can attest the kite goes big and unhooks well in powered conditions. 8+ hours of riding it so far and I love it.
