Re: Nitro or Legacy for Megalooping

Cool. I already own the 10, 12 and 14. Besides new sizes and being "a bit more nippy on the bar" what will be the differences in the new Legacy?

Re: Legacy can handle in 4 lines only???

Legacy comes with a 4 to 6 line adapter set in box. So if you only have a 4-line bar you should be good to go.

If you go 5 line make sure your 5th is tuned correctly. If all 5 lines are the same length the knot out of the box should work, if not you'll need to adjust the knot on the 5th line bridle.

Should I get a Legacy 12m to complete my quiver?

I've got the Legacy 10 and 14 and am wondering if I should get the 12m just to ensure I can easily do wakestyle when it picks up a bit? I'm wondering about this because my 10 and 14 have such good range that not much of a gap is present, but I don't like to ride my 14m in the winter here being fall/...

Re: Legacy Two kite quiver

I am 75kg and have a 10/14 quiver. 10 is great for wakestyle from 18 to 25 for me and then big air after that. I have had the 10m in winds up to 40 and while totally depowered I was still able to hold it down. 13 - 17 knots is perfect on the 14m for unhooking. Note: I ride the 14 on the Pop setting ...

Re: Shipping options ..And Costs.

I would prefer to see lower priced gear and seperate shipping costs. Getting rid of free shipping likely won't impact customer's purchasing decisions. I work for the 27th largest company in the US and we are getting rid of free shipping for this reason and also improving price transparency for onlin...

Re: Nitro 5 relaunch tips?

Because I enjoy wakestyle I crash my kite almost every other tack and thus have gotten very good at relaunching kites. I find on 4 line kites the rocker techinque of pulling aggressively one way and then the other as the kite comes through the power zone to be most effective. Being aggressive yet pa...

Re: Nitro 5 relaunch tips?

Agree 100%. The old school swim at your kite technique works great especially in light winds. It's too bad schools don't teach this technique any longer.

Re: How is MJ doing in the KOTA?

The last few KOTAs Kevin Langeree had consistently the biggest jumps riding a Torch. In my opinion the Legacy rides very similar in Pop mode and I was hoping to see Marc give Kevin and Jesse Richman a good run at it. (If gear failure it always seems to happen at the worst time. Next year maybe send ...

What? Why did he do that?

(Hopefully he didn't go to North.)
