Re: Pricing

Switch kites do come with a bag it just depends on how you define a kite bag. With $5 in materials and a sewing machine I simply added adjustable straps to all of my bags that allow me carry them on my back plus two for holding the bar. If your kite purchase decision is dependant upon the bag you sh...

Re: Any Single Strut kite news?

I just saw that North is releasing a 15m Mono which will retail for almost $1700. Unbelievable that people will actually pay that much for a kite. Thank you Switch for keeping the sport accessible.

Re: Any Single Strut kite news?

I've foiled my friend's Mono in 11mph winds and it was good. That kite has way better upper end than the trip and it boosts too. It's also fun to ride on a twintip too. Hopefully, the new single strut will be a good all-rounder too.

Re: Any Single Strut kite news?

I think those are good sizes as I have 9m and 12m strutless kites (Cloud and Trip) for foiling. However, at my local foiling spot there are many 10 knot days when I wish I had a slightly larger kite, thus the suggestion for a 12.5m or 13m for water starts, riding downwind and jumping. A 12m could be...

Re: Words of appreciation to Switch Team

Ditto. The Switch team have customer service. As a kiter with 12 years experience who purchases new kites every year I can tell you that other brands don't have the timely responsiveness that Switch does and this plus the awesome flight characteristics keeps me loyal to the brand and espousing their...

Yes. No problem as long as your lines are of equal length with the bar pulled in

Re: Is controller 4 in development?

Am I wrong but in the latest pics of Mark Jacobs the bar he is riding looks like the sheeter line is covered in plastic, the swivel is new and the depower ball has been replaced with a simple loop. Who knows, maybe their just testing different configs.

Re: Legacy 2 setups

When the bar is fully sheeted in the 5th will have light to moderate tension. Try moving your 5th line knot down 2cm this helped my kites fly better. If you go fast downwind and pop hard you should get plenty of slack on the Legacy, so much so that it you'll feel hardly any tension at the top of you...
