Re: Switch 2018

How about a lighter Element?, I've had a Cloud kite (12m) - was great in light wind but useless once the wind picked up. Also a bitch to relaunch if you dropped it in the water. I think the struts (3) have a big influence on turning speed, they help twist the wing tips. Mono strutt,s are better to r...

Re: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FROM SWITCH IN THE FUTURE

One thing that I don't want to see change in the future is the Switch customer service.

From my experience, absolutely first class & keep up the good work guys.

Def keeps me a loyal customer.

Re: Element Tip Tangle on Launch

Holding onto the upwind steering (back) line is a great idea, as that's the one that gets wrapped.
Thanks KH, I'll try that next time.

Re: Element Tip Tangle on Launch

I've never seen anyone using a tether in my 12 years of kiting the east coast of Australia.
I've also never had a self launch issue before the Element 5.

Re: What next? / No Removable Mono-Strut / Bye, Bye, Bill!

I must say, it's sad to see Bill go but I'm also excited about the new designs coming. @ Naishdude - I don't know what choice you had to make, as I know you have been on Ozone Reos for the last 2 seasons ? I have always had a strong connection with Switch, as I was with them from the beginning, I s...

Re: Switch Rumours?

[quote="topmick I think it would be great if Switch had a dedicated wave & another dedicated freeride kite. Like Naish have the Pivot & Slash, Ozone have Enduro & Reo... The Element is the wave and learner oriented kite, Low aspect ratio so it has good pull at low speeds and fast turning. Deep chor...

Re: Controller 3 bar on a nitro 6

That's what it was designed for, front lines have knots / attach to the loops on kite.
Back lines have loops / attach to one of the 3 knots of your choice on the kite pigtails.

Hope this helps
