Helium 3 7 vs. Slingshot SST

Hi,
can somebody compare the slingshot SST with the helium 3? Are they much the same? The difference according to the description is: The SST is more resistant against getting washed in the waves; the helium therefore is a bit lighter. Any more differences? Thx

Re: onepump (unipump) repair experiences

I fixed it the suggested way with upholstery thread. It was done very easy, so easy that you can fix it at the beach if have the repair kit. It looks very stable, at least as stable as the original kite was delivered, which should be fine. Thanks for your help guys.

onepump (unipump) repair experiences

Hi, after 4 years one hose fell of my kite, that´s okay with me. The kite is good quality. But I have to fix it and of course I want to avoid swimming through the bay in the future;) I ordered the hose-fix kit: http://switchkites.com/parts/kite/unipump/hoseassembly.html Now I´m interested in your ex...

Which kite for lightwind freestyle?

Hi, I have an 9 and 11 Element and quite happy with that. I have an 140*39 Board with straps. In very weak conditions (normally below 14-15 knots) I barely go upwind, when I unhook the kite sometimes just stops because it has not enough power. I´m looking for a special kite for 11-15 knots. In my ar...

Re: MJ Comp 2 - Unboxing and initial thoughts

Thanks for your review! I also think the pads/straps are nothing special. They are a bit large, because I made them very narrow but barefeet it´s a bit wide for me. I believe this tab threads through a slot and is captured by the screw but I didn't use it. Someone please tell me if my board will exp...

Re: MjComp2 is already Avaliable

If I order the pads + straps only right now: Will it be already the MJ2-set or is it the old one? The old one should be cheaper than the new one?

Controller 2 - spinning a lot into one direction

Hi, I tried to manage backloops all day into one direction. After every trick I turned the handle above the chickenloop to get the frontlines untwisted. After one hour I realised that it was getting harder and harder to untwist the lines. Then I landed the kite and the "3 lines from the chickenloop ...
