Re: Upgrading from E3 to E6?

There is very little difference in Depower. They both Depower very well.
I do have to say the Element6 by far way more stable at Zenith in Gusty winds if this is your main concern.

Re: Helium 3

On a 10m I can easily go in 10 knots of wind being conservative. This is on a Pretty fast wing that is not made for beginners. 70 kg rider. Everyone is different depending on how they know to work your kite to get up and gliding. Lot more skill involved in this respect than the kite. How ever the ke...

Re: Helium 3

I would say they are very similar.
Its like splitting hairs. The Element might have 1 knot to its advantage.
Most would not feel to much of a difference.
Both kite perform really well in the bottom end.

Re: Do I want an Element 6 12m for foiling?

Sorry for the confusing wind charts.
They are an estimate. And a little off.
From my experience if are just going to foil. Go the Helium3 12m .
It should cover just what you are looking for.
If you have any further questions. Please email me @ felix@switchkites.com

Re: Helium 3

Hi. The Heliums in the larger sizes are made for getting out in light wind just like the previous Heliums. We did not want to lose this factor in the bigger sizes. The H3 got going a little better.. So win win there. Adding the smaller sizes made the h3 range more versatile for foil and waves. Hope ...

Re: Controller 4

When testing which bar thickness we were going with -we specifically purchased or got our hands on many bars from other manufactures. We handed them out to riders that do testing in different areas for us and waited for feed back. We did not have one compliant regarding thickness and I have to say m...

Re: Controller 4

48 cm of bar throw. Regarding thickness this is a huge personal preference and hand size. We have riders on our gear in dry suits and gloves and have never complained about this. Also too small a diameter customers complain about cramping. Just different people like different things We went with the...

Re: Helium 3

Hello Topmick. Sounds like you went another direction before the H3 was released. I tried to give you as much info regarding the e6 and h3 as I possible could. Most brands give no heads up or detail on whats coming . We try our best here at Switch . Maybe one day you get around to trying our line up...

Re: Helium 3

This might help a little a review from a Switch customer that posted on our site today .. I've got the 8 and 10m H3, and have about an hour on each so far. I'm 162 lbs and ride a 5'1" vader in the waves (don't do twin tips, not into strapless jumping, and never tried foiling). Had Element 5's (9 and...
