Re: Is controller 4 in development?

I'm with the keep it simple crowd. Just take a look at the bar maintenance video from North. There are way to many small parts and tight tolerances. Those two things do not mix well with sand and salt. I would much rather have a bar I can service on vacation with easily sourced parts.

Re: Nitro 6, Sensor 2 or Quad control

I've used the core bar on my nitrov2. It works fine the nice thing about the core bar is the 2:1 depower requires less pressure but the twist release was a bit of a let down. I know the core bar has auto untwist but until you pull in on the bar the lines still look twisted and out of habit I would t...

Re: Pricing

I'm with Faxie on this one. To be a fair comparison we have to compare sale price with sale price.

TM, can you post a pic of the worn spot? It might help visualize how the line is wrapping around the wing tip.

Shape reminds me a lot of the helium with less struts. Will the flight characteristics be similar?

Re: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FROM SWITCH IN THE FUTURE

Have to disagree on the cab bar. I like the switch bar with some tweaks to make it better. you cant customize to cab bar to your liking as easy as the switch bar or repair as easy. Any bar on the market is customizable. Ultimately the control bar comes down to a few pieces. Chickenloop, bar, pulley...

Re: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FROM SWITCH IN THE FUTURE

Some recent developments in Control Bar technology that might be considered in the next generation Switch control bar: 1) Several manufacturers, such as Ocean Rodeo, are introducing new bars with the depower being controlled by a knob on the bar itself. This internal trim adjustment means no front ...

Re: Kite Confusion: 13m Element vs 12m Nitro vs. 15.5m Heliu

It is tough because of your weight. I weigh 150lb and think the helium is just about right water relaunch is super easy but would be way too much kite for you. I have the nitro5 12m good if wind is steady and water relaunch is tougher because of increased weigh of struts. I think you should stick wi...

Re: One-pump Tubes

That a tricky one to explain but here goes. Start by positioning the outer house overlapping the inner one by desired overlap when finished. Then flip the outer hose back on itself. The outer tube should be back far enough to slide retaining ring back on. After fitting the hose and retaining ring ba...

Re: One-pump Tubes

Take a look at the inside of the plastic retaining rings before sliding them back on to tube. There is a slight bevel on one end, that end should face the valve it is going over. You can almost feel a slight click when the ring slide into place.
