Re: Best Switch Lightwind Kite?

Glad this post was bumped. I am in the market to replace my kahoona 11.5 this is currently my largest kite, but for the summers here I need something a little bigger to get me going. I am also looking for something that I can fly in 10-20 knt range like Jerome. I'm about 150lb dry, ride tt mostly, a...

Re: What the Element riders want to see in V2 Element?

Having owned the E9 for about 6 months I have only now been able to put significant time on it. This Element is great in almost all aspects. The only issue I have had is the long bridles. If the kite inverts it is almost impossible for it to flop around and right itself. When I say invert I don't me...

Re: Low end of 11m Method v2 vs 13m Element v1?

Hey guys I kind of have the same question. I weigh 150lb or about 70kg mostly freeride TT but getting a surfboard soon. I like mostly hooked in oldschool tricks nothing unhooked yet, would not rule it out in the future but probably kept to a minimal because of bad knees. So here is the break down. I...

Re: U stick screw valves

Double check with warranty first but if you have to swap valves you can use the airtime valves. Why does it matter anyway, if the valve is the same? Your pump came with a variety of nozzles. One of those will fit the new airtime valve.

Re: method vs. Kahoona

Thanks for all the info. Jwlambert I so have an element right now and in the process of ordering a 7m but for my weight I still need something a little smaller to cover the wind range. I was in a 9m element with a TT 135 when everyone was on 12m so I would think the 7m would cover what a 9m for othe...

Re: method vs. Kahoona

Megaloopy thanks for the info. I'm glad you brought up the point with the method sitting at 12. I have also noticed the element doing that in higher winds. I can handle the kite overflying in most situations but in 5m conditions it would be nice if that didn't happen. I live in Seattle otherwise I w...

method vs. Kahoona

Just curious has anyone flown the method side by side with the kahoona. I currently have a Kahoona v3 11.5 and love it, I have flown the different sizes of that model and like them also. Recently it has come to my attention that I need a small kite and was thinking about a 5m. Can someone tell me ho...
