Re: Is controller 4 in development?

Hello Topmick Here is the response from Switch HQ. "We have no rear line adjustment. the new bars have a 70% improvement in stretch properties over the old bar. But, our customers expect to see a rear line adjustment system so we are implementing one utilizing the rear pigtails right now on all new ...

Re: I hated the Nitro V2. How is the V5?

Nitro5 is similar to Nitro4 with the Spider bridle added. Nitro6 was completely re-profiled and the LE outline modified for better relaunch. Also a bit faster and lower BP. Nitro6 is definitely an improvement.

Re: Relaunch Nitro vs Element

Hello Matrium00: You are getting lots of advice, all good. Although the Nitro6 looks similar to previous Nitro versions, it is a significant revision in wing profile and tube geometry and is also somewhat lighter and easier to re-launch. Understand it is a relatively high-aspect, 5-strut kite which ...

Re: Bar pressure - Element3 13m vs others

Whenever you make a change to your front lines, you need to check your calibration and compensate on the rears if needed. Adding a knot or more to line 4 will shorten your front lines, so you will probably need to 'power up' by shortening the rears slightly.

Re: Bar pressure - Element3 13m vs others

Hello kiter17: Step one: Remove the front pigtail from the line 3 & 4 junction. Step two: Tie a 'figure eight' knot in line 4 (which goes to the wingtip corner) to shorten it. Step three: Bring the line 3 & 4 end loops back together and replace the pigtail to join them. You will need to do this to b...

Re: Switch Design Process

Hello Bill C:
Got it! Thanks!

Nitro6 is a bit lighter. 5-6% or more depending on size. It is a 5 strut so hard to lose major weight there. Working on it.
Thanks again!

Re: Switch Design Process

Hello Borby: First, thank you for your support! We listen to rider feedback and improve without losing the DNA of the kite. Nitro is now in 6th iteration. So, much of what was asked has been delivered. We continue to develop this way. Now (actually anytime) is a good time to indicate what a Nitro7 s...
