Re: Why you shouldn't buy a switch kite anymore

I bring it up because the mentioning of price. ... I never mentioned Bill. Not sure why you are bringing him up? You bring up this topic in about every other thread here and in pretty much every thread about Switchkites on kiteforum. So for you, it seems important. For me it is simple. In kitesurfi...

Re: Why you shouldn't buy a switch kite anymore

I certainly belive that buyers if returning products should not be abliged to fork out 100's of pounds to be able to return an item. Is that what you call good customer service? This sounds nice in theory, but also extremely costly. And these costs would eventually have to be payed by all the other...

Re: Why you shouldn't buy a switch kite anymore

For a kite that you didn't even develop. I wouldn't call that cheap. .... The other brands payed for the development costs ofcourse. But maybe the deal Switch got for using their designs wasn't that great, who knows. What makes you think the current designer for Switchkites got a bad deal? And real...

Re: Why you shouldn't buy a switch kite anymore

Not sure what makes you think I speak for Switchkites in this matter - because I am not.

If Switchkites put wrong customs and shipping information on the packages, they really should help you out.

Re: Why you shouldn't buy a switch kite anymore

How much can I expect to pay for a 12m nitro 7 with bar delivered to the UK. A delivered price, not a consult your tax department to find out the additional charges. I’m too lazy 😂 It should be 2.7% customs and 20% import vat - so about 23.24%. Yet somehow the kites costed less, with inhouse develo...

Re: Why you shouldn't buy a switch kite anymore

Not sure I got everything right. So first issue is the shipping costs for returning the item? I agree the fact that you have to pay the return charges, makes returning items less appealing. But this policy has been in place since the first day they implemented the return guarantee and it is written ...

Re: Helium 3 7sqm frontstall?

In light winds you somply cannot let go of the bar unless you have some sort of stopper. At least I never tried a kite where this would work. And I tried all the wave/foilkites from the major companies lately. If you need both hands to handle the foil, you need to put the stock stopper back in or yo...

Re: Helium to E5 Comparison

I had the E5 in 5,7,9 and now the H3 in 7,10 and soon 12. Not sure about the chart... The low end on the H3 7m² and E5 7m² is about the same, even after flying them back to back. That is on a surfboard. The top end is a bit better on the H3 or rather the range where the kite feels like it is the rig...

Re: Helium 3

Just had my first session on the Helium 3 in 7m². This kite is insanely good. It feels like the Element 5, just more responsive and better depower. And no matter how badly you fly it in strapless jumps, you just cannot get it to drop out of the air. Best kite I have ever tried. Make one in 6m² and 5...

Re: Helium 3

I had 3 sessions on my H3 10m² so far. It is seriously an awesome kite. I do not do knots anymore. Its more about the conditions around the wind, that make or break sessions. I am currently at 85kg. 14 Knots in clean sideoff waves is easy. 14 Knots in onshore chop will not be fun at all. That said -...
