Re: 12m low end - differences between Helium and Element (and Nitro)

I have owned a whole quiver of Wainman 2.0 kites and I think my elements are far superior in all aspects. I have been kiting for 18 years and think that any version of Switch kites goes upwind way better than most other brands I have demoed. Just my 2 cents...

Re: Switch Design Process

Do not change Anything else for the future Nitro unless you can somehow get it to jump higher. That kite is perfect!!!!

Re: Thinking about going from Legacy to Nitro in smaller siz

Yeah I'm turning 40 this year and its starting to really suck crashing. I have only a 12m Legacy v1 and all nitro 6's 12m 9m and 7m I just got. Normally I would say the legacys have more float and hangtime but that seemed to change for me with the v6's. I would say they are very similar now. I would...

Re: Nitro v6 Availability

I really hope the new jumping performance of the nitro 6 is competitive with the ozone edge. I'm so sick of my buddies jumping higher than me on the woo challenges. I hope it gets released soon this week, my finger is on the mouse ready to by.

Re: Element V5

Its still an all around freeride kite like its always been. Its just been tweaked to be better in the waves than the previous versions.

Re: Nitro 5 relaunch tips?

Oddly enough, I had the same problem with my 12m v5 too. Except I felt the wind was stronger about 15mph and going down wind with a current in the same direction made it difficult. Normally in the past I would sheet the bar out to the stopper ball and pull on one line to relaunch. I found this versi...

Re: nitro v5 12m review

Yeah Bill, well done!!!! I was very impressed with the nitro 5 overall. My only noticeable difference was the slight top end kite reaction difference i previously mentioned. But exactly as you stated it was way over the upper end of the 12m.

Re: nitro v5 12m review

See my experience was a bit different. My comparison is coming from the difference between the Nitro v4 12m and the Nitro v5 12m. I rode mine Sat winds were between 20 to 35mph, I'm 190# and on A MJcomp2 140. I will say I do love the kite its awesome and has all the things I love about the Nitro. So...

Re: The Legacy is Amazing.

I don't even know where to begin. I will apologize in advance for the expletives I'm using for my enthusiasm of how much I love this kite. This kite is F'ing amazing. I creamed my drysuit so hard riding this thing today I sprained my asshole. Its so damn good for unhooking even in really strong wind...
