Re: New Board

My Bliss V5 is the wood core as well. Maybe it is heavy, I don't recall it feeling heavy. I am 175lbs maybe 180lbs in my gear, but since I got this board, I find it more difficult to get out in the lighter winds compared with my previous board, Axis Vanguard at 135cmx43cm. I am free rider who likes ...

New Board

Can any one comment on the new Switch board? I am wondering the upwind speed, as I own a RRD bliss board, which is great, but I find it rides a bit smaller than it's actual size due to the rocker possibly. My current board is 139x43. I would like to hear some reviews if someone has ridden this board.

Re: Switch Element V6

Has anyone noticed the kite material on this kite feels nice and thick? I just received my new kite, maybe it is just new, but it does feel like a more durable and thicker material than previous models.

Re: new gear

for the new boards does the F/S F/R stand for free style and free ride? I need a new board, hope one of these are good for the great lakes up in Canada.

I adjust mine all the time. Hopefully that is the issue. It would be nice to hear from Switch.

Controller 4

Anyone find that on there depower/power line gets caught in the cleat? I tried the bar for the first time, and at one point I could not get my line out of the cleat to depower. I think that line is to small and hard. Ocean Rodeo, uses similar system but the line is bigger and fatter, and has a bunge...

Re: Element 3 and Nitro 4

Hi Barrywind, it does seem most bars now are single line. I good see how a 2 line could be a bit dangerous, this bar came with a 17m kite, so not sure if that makes the danger level worse. I think I can change it to single line, but for now I just want to know if it is compatible, with my switch kit...

Element 3 and Nitro 4

Is the Element 3 13m, 9m and Nitro 4 12m compatible with a Ocean Rodeo Above the bar 2015 model? It is a 2 line flagging system, 4 line 20m line set. Not sure what else is required. I have been using my Liquid force CPR bar (2014) for years on these three kites, it seems to work, but maybe it isn't ...
