If you look at the wind range on the specs page for the 7m Helium it says the wind range is roughly 25 - 40kts. It looks like you are flying the kite in at best, very marginal wind conditions and maybe the reason the kite is not flying as it should.

Are you still looking for a bar mate? I'm in the Uk and have a controller 3 I could sell.

Kite*hawk, thank you very much for your advice. I'd say about 50% of my sessions are self launch/land, and most of my local spots attracts some big swell so I think i'll go for the element. The element seems to be the all rounder that I'm looking for.
