Re: Switch Element V6

Currently my Element 5 5m becomes a bit of a handful when foiling in 30-35 knots winds. It's doable, but not fun. Should I get an Element 6 4m or 3m? I am looking to have fun on the foil in the 30-40 knot range. By "fun" I mean carving around on the waves and generally swooshing about. I bought an E...

Re: Nitro v5

My first guess would be the bar/lines. You could test if it does the same with another four line bar, I use a cabrinha bar with my Nitro v5.

Re: Switch Element V6

I saw an E6 in the sky today so stopped to check it out. The kite landed as I arrived but looked like a few guys chatting around the kite and it was been given over to another rider to test. I went to chat to Robin who said it was the first time out on his new 6m Element V6 so still getting used to ...

Re: Nitro 7

Nitro 6 stock is running low. Got a friend that needed a 10m. Is switch planning to update their Nitro 6 stock or is there a Nitro 7 coming out soon?

Re: Switch Element V6

Looks good, I'm tempted. Do you have any feedback on how it handles in the top end of its wind range, ie when flying in over powered conditions?

Re: Switch Element V6

I'm not sure who this Element V6 is aimed at, beginners? since they are testing them out at schools. I hope it has some wave appeal or they bring out a dedicated wave kite. I prefer my kites without pulleys. Please don't add pulleys to the Nitro. Not much ElementV5 stock left  I was about to ...

That looks super clean. My only other hope is that it shed some weight too.

I see the 20m replacement lines at http://switchkites.com/parts/kite/flyin ... etwbr.html

Re: Nitro 6 Reviews !

I can comment on my Nitro5 8/10m vs my friends 2016 Switchblade 8/10m that we've swapped a few time during sessions. Both are heavy five strut kites and do work in low wind but are not much fun. They both become fun in their mid to upper ranges. Both relaunch just as well. Both have a medium bar pre...
