Krypto should be closer ;)
You think? Krypto is a 5-strut bridled C vs. the 3-strut "open C" of the Nitro. I'd say the Nitro is close to the dice. **don't really know what I'm talking about

Re: Switch Krypto ??

8 & 10m already sold out? Dam! Does anyone in Nor-Cal have one of these for Demo? Eager to compare. Hope this means the C4x Pro is soon to follow!

I would really like a bar with a bit firmer grip... as mentioned before, the C4Pro should have that.
And shorter! Those C4x's are pretty big. Maybe they plan to release with the Krypto?! Wouldn't hold my breath though.

Re: Switch Krypto ??

How different is this from the Legacy? Is it essentially the same shape with bridal points, or are there more refinements?

Re: Switch Krypto ??

I am very interested in this kite. Is something like an Ozone C4 or Core GTS? Does it have bridles? It's 5 strut bridled C kite. The bridle is removal similar to the C4. GTS/RPM/Dice is 3 strut so hopefully this is more freestyle orientated. MJ even rides his Nitro's bridleless with 5th line though...

Exactly why you need the kite trimmed correctly. If you are unhooked, your bar is effectively pulled into the chicken loop, with no chance to sheet out.

Re: Unhooking Nitro 4

Do check the line calibration, it seems like your front lines may have stretched a little. The nitro should preform OK unhooked provided you apply a bit of depower and it's pumped up tight. Before you head out, you can check to see if the kite is behaving badly by just pulling the bar in completely ...

Same boat, I'm guessing they flew out the door with the $100 off special

When attaching 5th line right on the cleat. Flagging the kite is on one of the steering lines?
It should be one of the front lines, not the steering line. I have my legacy set up this way and it flags fine.
