Re: Controller 4

How do you tune the line lengths with the controller 4?

I recently moved my clam cleat lower down to increase available amount of trim length. This had the effect of also lengthening the center lines about an inch. I didn't see a way to change the steering line lengths like with the older bars.

Re: Controller 4

Glad to find out it's roughly half a pound (227g) lighter than the controller 3. How durable would you estimate the bar ends to be given that it's soft foam, just like the floats?

Re: Howto replace the kitelines

I used a paperclip to hook the center line and pull it through the swivel basket. Some force was required.

Re: Bar saftey issue

It's not really the swivel that's the problem, but the splices on the frontlines that got a tiny bit bigger in diameter. Never really had swivel issues with my first set of lines, but the issues started with an new set where the front line would get a bit more stuck in the hole, limiting the swivel...

Re: Controller 2 - does not flag on release

Just read this post and checked my bar and it does seem to be very hard to pull the line through by hand now that you mention it. I've never had to release before. Just to be clear, when you're talking about drilling a bigger hole, you're talking about drilling through the middle of the metal swive...

Controller 3 released - thoughts?

http://switchkites.com/controller3.html Looks like it just went live on the website. It still says "Controller 2" in the title of the web page btw. It generally looks the same. The things I was interested in though, I'm not sure if they've been changed. Mainly: The upper swivel, is there less resis...

Re: Just swapped lines on the controller 2

had the same problem, my powerlines twisted into each other. l do a lot of downloop and looping the kite with my waveboard. mostly l do not count my downloops, to counter them with loops to get the lines untwisted :? l turn out my bar and then see the frontlines are twisted. so because of the above...

Re: Just swapped lines on the controller 2

Hi, thanks for this guide. I'm posting a related question here in hope for a solution. Ever since I replaced my depower/chicken loop line (the one that comes too long) about 2 months ago I've been having problems with my front lines twisting like crazy . I thought it might be because of badly calib...
