Re: Controller 4

Hello Switch. Are you guys working on a new bar? Would be nice to see a "click in" quick release on the next one ;) Also nice if the actual bar width is the same width as between the steering lines, but thats not as important as the click in quick release. Thanks Kind regards Henrik If they release...

Still 700 Euro for A 12m Nitro 7? That's decent right?

I hesitate between Nitro, Element and Helium in 12m to surf and jump high. Which one turns faster ? I only use my surfboard in low wind. When the wind is stronger I use my twin tip to jump high. So which of these kite do you recommend me ?
Element

Re: 12m low end - differences between Helium and Element (and Nitro)

My advice as an E6 owner: If you want a responsive, fast, light, and good upwind kite... don't go for the Element. In fact it's the complete opposite. It's sad to say, but it's one of the worst kites I've had in my 15 years of kite experience. Bought it almost a year ago and I hate every time I hav...

BUMP (sorry)

Or maybe you someone can give me a weight comparison? How much does the Element 12m weight vs the Helium 12m?
Don't know, but the Helium is definitely lighter.

Re: Strut Wrinkles

The older Elements have wrinkles across the strut fabric, usually at the first seem back from the leading edge and about half way down the strut. They're usually only visible when the kite is sitting nose down on the ground. I have had kites (from other manufacturers) where those winkles cause fati...

Re: Why you shouldn't buy a switch kite anymore

I bring it up because the mentioning of price. ... I never mentioned Bill. Not sure why you are bringing him up? You bring up this topic in about every other thread here and in pretty much every thread about Switchkites on kiteforum. So for you, it seems important. For me it is simple. In kitesurfi...

Re: Why you shouldn't buy a switch kite anymore

For a kite that you didn't even develop. I wouldn't call that cheap. .... The other brands payed for the development costs ofcourse. But maybe the deal Switch got for using their designs wasn't that great, who knows. What makes you think the current designer for Switchkites got a bad deal? And real...
